Canette.

500ml can.......well this doesn’t smell like much. very faint aroma of grains, and malt. and a background aroma of alcohol. Flavour is sweet, and slightly malty, with an alcohol aftertaste. This is really not very good. Drain pour.

50 cL can. Pours dark and filtered brown with a huge very light brown head. Sweet and slight roasted malt aroma with a very minor raisin note. Roasted malt flavour with sweetness beneath, almost raisin like but goes slowly dry into a malty bitter finish.

[481-20070802] 500mL. Straw aroma with light fruit and medium alcohol. Clear, dark red amber body with a medium-lasting foamy light tan head. Burnt straw and burnt fruit flavour with some malt. Medium body. Burningness is not a pleasant characteristic.

Dark brown colour with a thick beige head that fades back to lace. Very malty aroma. Surprisingly good. Malty with notes of liquorice. Slightly metallic in the finish.

Courtesy of Papsoe. Thanks, Henrik. Lightly toasted, sweet malt aroma. The body is a red tinged brown and holds a very nice looking, two finger thick, tan head that fades slowly. Malty fore with mild fruit notes and lots of toasted grain accents on to the dry, clean finish. Pretty well made, fun drinking beer. No real trace of the near 8% alcohol save a mild phenol note that blends into the toasted malt. Pretty good brew here.

500ml can. One of my favs. Lots of flavour. Very satisfying. I buy it more in the winter but great any time. RERATE: fruit dominates the aroma, but pretty musty, flavours are decent and palatable but far from what i remeber, still not the worst brew but i dont think as highly of it as i once did.
