But we still have to go abroad to buy this. Very dark brown - almost cola-coloured. Extremely full-bodied, malty with some nutty notes. Dry without being immensely bitter with a pleasant, balanced sweetness. A very nice beer indeed and rather close to a typical German bock. 261299 yespr (12313), Copenhagen O, Denmark

| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | Jul 1, 2001 Thin for style; malt flavours are very simple, and not balanced off with anything. Tastes like corn was used, but I don’t know for sure. Bargain bock (actually popular in Canada for its alcohol/price ratio). fiulijn (7370), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy
