500ml - Creamy, fleeting head over copper colored liquid. Slightly woody nose, very light. Slightly malty on palate, fading to faint hops and smoke. OK.

The beer looks nice, with a somewhat normal head. The smell is a little like old pond water, and not good. The taste is a little smoky, with some wierd hop flavor over sweet malts. It is going to be hard to finish the bottle.

Can on the train from Cardiff to Paddington. Dark brown body topped by a creamy white head. Smell of roasted barley. Unusual taste that is hard to identify - maybe a touch of sallow, dried vegetables and fruit. Not particular flavoursome. Rather vain attempt of a bitter (03.02.2007).

Medium to dark brown in color with a small head. The double dragon has a light malt aroma. Thin bodied beer with very little taste. You take a sip and while you’re waiting to experience the flavor--it’s gone...Light malt flavor, some rye perhaps? But not anything I would want to drink again.

Pours clear amber with a cascading tan head, odd color combination for a bitter. Weak aroma of goldings hops, mixed nuts and sour apples and melons. Flavor is more of the same with a musty finish that fortunately fades rather quickly. Very unimpressive, hoping for more complexity or at least something I wouldn’t want to give away.

Amber coloured. Very odd aroma and flavour, malts with i don’t know, vegetables or something. Not my kind of beer.

Draft. Bitter? This one smelled and tasted like a bourbon barrel brew. Very strong alcohol smell and early taste that faded away. As I got halfway down it tasted like a cherry syrup. Odd Brew indeed!
