Rich, deep bronze colour. Thin caramel head. Chewy caramel nose, slightly earthy with a vague fruitiness. Sweet, almost sticky body. Definitely plays on the stereotype of Welsh ale. Finishes sweet, but rather caramelly with an industrial metallic note.

Bottle from Wine & Beer Westpark. Bronze pour with minimal head. Aroma of toasted malt and apples. Very strong toasted grain taste with a fruity and bitter finish.

Somewhat red-amber in colour. Small white head. Slightly sweet. Too watery for my taste, but leaves a lightly bitterish finish. An average beer of its type.

This black ale poured with a miniscule white head (how did they create a white head on a black beer?). There is a very strange creamy taste with notes of caramel malt and a slightly bitter finish. Too watery for me.

500ml bottle - Well it’s got a nifty name and cool bottle. It pours clear light amber with a sizeable white head that lingers for the duration of the drink and leaves heavy lacing. It has a mild toasted malt aroma. Toasted caramel malt leads the flavor. The hops is mild and comes through more substantially in the enjoyable finish. The body is light and just a little watery. This beer is a pleasant session ale though it doesn’t stand out much.

50cl bottle from Willow Bend Liquors (Florida). Pours a clear slightly reddish amber color with a one finger white head that diminishes quickly but still provides lacing on the glass. Aroma: hints of ripe fruit with maple syrup or molasses (slightly sweet). Somewhat watery mouthfeel with slightly sweet, slightly bitter fruity taste. Slightly sour, tart finish suggest of apple and citrus, grapefruit.

Bottle from Cork & Bottle, KY. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate tart bitter prune aroma. Medium body. Medium balanced flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Drinkable brew.
