[Vintage 1992 - sampled 2004] A deep red beer with no head. The aroma is very powerful of cherries, but also with notes of alcohol and fermented fruit. The flavor is very sweet - with lots of cherries, almost artificial, but also notes of dust, but for a kriek not sour enough. I think it is over the top.

(Bottle 25 cl) Almost pitch black, not much head and a little low in carbonation. Pronounced sour notes from the base beer. Strong cherry flavour but never overly sweet. Rather nice indeed. 070698

Bottled, 1992 vintage. Dark reddish broan. Balsamic and sweet. Notes of saccharine. Velvetty mouthfeel.

75 cL bottle, 2001 version from Kulminator - so it seems although we think it may have been an older bottle we ended up getting. Pours slight cloudy deep amber with small white head. Beatiful inviting look. Aroma is mild cherry sweet fruity and light sweet, quite fresh. Lovely light cherry fruity flavoured, mild citrusy note and light acidic bite on the back of the tongue. But the fresh fruityness and mild sweetness really stands out. Nice fruity finish. Lovely.

Bottle. Light unclear medium red color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate cherry, marzipan, almond cake. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. (141007)

Bottle, 3.5%. Very distinct and quite sweet cherry aroma. Cloudy, very dark red colour. Almost no head. The flavour is quite sweet with a little citric note to balance. Quite low carbonation.

Bottled. Hazy brownrubyish colour with big white head. Aroma of cherries, rasberries and some strawberries. Flavour is very much cherries and raspberries mixed. A nicely balanced beer. Probably from 2000 (cork), even though the lables BBE markings were from early 90’s (with nothing marked/cut on the labels).

Bottle. Clear red coloured with a light pink head. Sweet aroma of cherries and marzipan. Fruity flavour ofcherries, marzipan and berries with a light acidity.
