Bottled(800ml). -RBESG2008, Grand Tasting. 1982 vintage.
This one is the oldest beer that I have tried so far. Pale brown coloured, small white head, strong acidic nose. The taste is also strong acidic fruity, metallic and vinous. Mild alcoholic acidic finish. Quite nice brew.

Bottle, 1982 vintage (Clarysse), at the RBESG08 grand tasting. Wow... a beer at least 4 years older than me. Impressive. Murky brown colour. Slightly acidic prosecco nose. Light appley taste, acidic aftertaste and finish. A very interesting experience and I kinda liked it.

Bottled (vintage 1982). Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is acidic and oxidized and has some wooden and slight vanillaish notes. Flavour is papery dry, semi-sour wood and some tart fruityness. Very nice.

1982 version
Clear orange to brown color, white head. Sweet wood scent. Acidic and metallic taste, also salty. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness. I usually don’t go for the Oud Bruins, but this one was rather nice.

Old bottle, forgot to record the date though. This was also the last beer I drank on my Belgium trip. Served in a lambic basket and poured with a small head. Aroma is very balsamic vinegar aceto and some light oily cherry. Taste is some balsamic vinegar with some oily chocolate and acidity in the finish. All of the flavor finishes quickly, must be a trait in Felix brews. Good stuff, still has plenty years of aging on it.
750mL bottle @ Kulminator in a Speciale Felix large tulip on 5/22/08.

[at dedollewaitor’s Odense tasting]
Pours deep brown with a good, creamy, beige head. Aroma has sweet caramel and a little tart fruitiness. Light carbonation with fine mouthfeel. Flavour is lovely fruity, plums and raisins. Light tartness and good balance.
