May 15, 2006 Hazy deep reddish colour with a foamy beige head. Tart fruity aroma with notes of wood and vanilla. Tart fruit flavor with a sour milky note.

Apr 19, 2006 Bottle. Best before Feb ’05. Dark reddish brown with a loose, fluffy off-white head. Dark fruit aroma with liquorice and some sourness. The flavour has sweetness and a slightly metallic edge, but the sourness is most palatable.

Mar 30, 2006 Bottle (London Drinker 06): 75cl Sold as Verhaege Felix Oud Bruin. Mild amber brown with a tan head. Nice woody nose with sherry and port wine. Slightly oxidised flavour, but not too much to detract from the simple grapes. Oaky notes. Lacks tart edge, but still tasty.
