Vintage 81 sampled 2008: A hazy red-brown beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of metal, oxidation, fruit, and cherries. The flavor is sweet with notes of oxidation, metal, over ripe fruits. Too old, but still nice.

An unclear brown beer with a small head. Both the aroma is sweet and sour. Not the best of the type, but a still a nice beer.

(Bottle 25 cl) Almost black with a warm, reddish hue. Both figs and dates in both aroma and flavour. No bitterness but a pronounced underlying sourness with some sweetness on top. Lovely 250997 and 010998

Sampling of the 1998 version in 2002. Very dark brown. Wonderful balsamic, slightly acidic aroma. Medium bodied, vinuous. Perhaps not the most complex of beers, but I just love it.

25 cL bottle. Pours almost clear golden amber/red with a lacing tan head. Sweet malty, breadish and brown sugar aroma, mild note of fruit. Flavour is light breadish, subdued fruit note and a very mild sourness/tartness. Ends with a very minor metallic note and a dry malty flavour. Very minor berry fruit note too.6-5-7-3-13=3.4

75 cL bottle from 1982. Pours clear and golden orange with no head. Dry overripe fruity and light alcohol note. Sweet and light metallic with a nice fruity accent. Solid metallic notes too.6-3-6-3-13=3.1 - I guess only appearance didn’t age well.

Bottled (vintage 1982). Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is acidic and oxidized and has some wooden and slight vanillaish notes. Flavour is papery dry, semi-sour wood and some tart fruityness. Very nice.
