Fels Krone Pilsener

Draught, Firenze. Pours clear golden with medium white head. Weak aroma of grassy hops, and not much better on the palate, though moderately bitter. Nondescript overall.

Bottle 50 cl. Clear yellow with a dense white head. Clean malts in the nose with some flowery hops. Medium body, clean malts with a dry and hoppy finish. Quite decent. 130809

Clear light to medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, vegetable, corn, paper. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090626]

Bottle at Papsø. Clear golden coloured with a small white head. Aroma of malts, hay, grain and hops. Malty flavour of hay, grain, hops and grass. Dry hoppy finish.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild cornish with a light grassy touch. Mild sweet and malty flavoured, light bitterness coming through into a dry finish.

Clear golden with a medium white creamy head. Flavour was sweet and malty with caramel and grainy notes. Finished sweet.

Bottle, 4.8%. Weak, but refreshing aroma. Clear pale yellow colour. Nice stable white head. The flavour is OK malty, with a little vegetable. Slightly rough hoppiness.

Can. The aroma is light malty, a little bit of hops, quite sweet. The head is white, creamy and medium large with a rather long duration. The body is yellow. The taste is bitter with some hints of citrus, the finish is unfortunately a little bit metallic. The body is light, a little bit creamy and dry with a normal carbonation. A normal low-budget Pils.
