50cl bottle from Kris Wines. Deep dark black with a thin tan film. Aroma of coffee malt and dark chocolate. Notes of toast and vanilla with slight alcohol. Flavour is more of the same with a light salty sourness and a lovely dry coffee finish. Bit of a fan of Felstar and this has only cemented my opinion.

Aug 16, 2005 Bottle. Black with a large reddish brown head. Nice aroma of chocolate and sweet dark malts. Taste is roasted malts with a dry, bitter finish. Nice medium mouthfeel. Good stuff.
