Cask conditioned - handpump - Wig & Pen, Northampton. An amber coloured beer with a lively whitish head and lots of lace. The aroma is sweet and fruity, with some cleaning products. The taste is more of the same but all in all presentable.

Cask (Cambridge Blue, Cambridge)
Golden brown, thin head. Sweet spicy malty aroma. Taste matches that wery well, full-bodied, with dark fruits - fruitloaf even.

Cask, Newark Fest 07. Amber brown with no head. Aromas are sweet malts with some sugar. Quite fruity with soft hops. Flavours are chocolate and weetabix malts with light prickly pine. Peppery and slightly nutty. Has a good bitter finish.

500ml bottle from brewery stand at Ely market. Russet/copper colour with thick lasting beige head. Quelle surprise, it’s a rubbery aroma like virtually all the beers I bought that day from Fenland. Beneath this is a slightly watery malty fruity best bitter. They really have to sort their bottling out. Worst batch of beers I’ve had. this is rubbery, smoked and nasty.
