[On-tap at Feral] Pours dark brown with a dark beige head that leaves great lacing. Aroma has a good dose of hops, cocoa, tangerine, peach and brown sugar. The taste is very hoppy--citrusy again, then roasted malt, chocolate (which really comes out as it warms), touch of anise, and a fair alcohol presence as well. Thin mouthfeel, but very smooth and has a long finish. Looks good, smells and tastes very nice, but the mouthfeel really holds it back. This thing has great potential, and if they can thicken it up they will have an amazing beer.

Been having some avarage imperial stouts lately but this one comes up ace. Too many imperials are too overwhelming in certain flavours. The boris keeps the complexity of imperial flavour with out a flavour being too outstanding. Smooth, flavoursome, top stout and beer

A gorgeous sticky chocolate milk shake of an imperial stout. I could use one of these for breakfast some mornings. Impenetrable black with a thick nitrogenated head. Subdued nose due to the serving method, but there was the usual mix of Milo and coffee grounds. Creamy-smooth body. Lovely thick dark chocolate flavours with some balanced rummy notes of alcohol in the finish. Really nice balance. Love to see this in a bottle. (Draught at the Taphouse, Sydney)

Tried on tap at Feral and also at the Local Taphouse Sydney. Black body with short lived tan head. Taste was very smooth with hints of dark chocolate, hops, a little caramel and restrained roasted notes, alcohol was hardly noticeable. Had a couple in a row at Feral and still wanted more plus was still coherent. This could age well but I am all for drinking it while I can.
