Seemed a little highly carbonated upon the pour though, lots of fizz and medium head. Nose certainly has some nut appeal, and is accompanied by malt and cheese bread? Pretty flat in the mouth. A bit watery right away, distinct nuts again but not much past that. Expected a big splash of roasted malt and some choco...but its missing. Oh wait, cocao is coming through on the finish (as I write this!) My suspicion was correct, a touch highly carbonated. pintbypint (1025), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Carmel aroma, sweet nose. Flavour is caramel with a touch of chocolate. Deeper dark chocolate note to the finish, light bitterness. Decent, not priced too badly either. Aroma was dominated by sweet toasted malts but there could’ve been more malts - no question there. Faint chemicals too. There was a noticable burnt taste as well as some hops, but I’ve tasted this a hundred times before in average or just below average brews - now I’m not saying that this is a bad beer because it is not, it’s just nothing new. I could also taste a hint of coffee, the slightest sourness and an odd grassy flavour tied into the bitterness. Mouthfeel was fairly smooth, but the beer seemed thin. Some mild bitter aftertaste along with that sourness and some odd lingering spice. Excellent belch though! GregClow (2516), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Aroma of toasted grain, with a hint of well-sugared coffee. Medium bodied. Flavour is pleasant, roasty with a bit of cocoa and coffee, and some nuttiness as well. A bit light and plain, but not too bad. I decided to buy it because I’ve been craving OK Spring Classic Nut Brown Ale lately, something they don’t make anymore. Anyways, I find it to be nutty in aroma, with fantastic deep brown colour. Full bodied and somewhat thick, which I love. Overall a very delicious beer. CapFlu (3492), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
