Nice hops and malt balance. More of a lager than an amber. Good session brew. Would like to try this on tap. Recommended. ryan (1780), Beltsville, Maryland, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 21, 2008 This beer has a very malty and somewhat honeyed aroma. The aroma is grainy and packs a slightly fiery bread/yeast flavor with a smooth honeysuckle aftertaste. Hop bitterness is restrained but present and fairly mild and not too flowery or woody. I think this is a pretty good beer and I might buy some more as a simple everyday beer if I can find it for a decent price. darn1207 (582), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 1, 2008 Bottle: Fiery orange, translucent, moderate foamy off-white head, spotty lacing.   Malty nose, very slight overcooked vegetable,
barnish, dusty.   Semi-sweet on the tongue, decent malt base, low bitterness, less grainy than I would have thought.   Out of the
three Fiddler’s Green beers, this so far is one that the most decent.   A little thin, but at least towards the backside it has no real
off flavors.   Average body and mouthfeel.   Light on the backside, but at least its not as dirty as the rest.   Looking at the
others this is the lowest scored, but to be honest, I think this is a better example of an Amber than either of the other two as Pale and
IPA.   Marginal at best, but not half bad.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 25, 2007 Bottle… Clear, deep amber ale with orange highlights and a small, creamy, off-white head. Good retention. Malty, meaty nose with metallic, earthy hops. Also, notes of English toffee, caramel and biscuit with subdued copper or nickel. Medium sweet caramel flavor perfectly balanced by minerally, metallic bitterness. Uninteresting. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with lively carbonation. Crisp, metallic, mildly bitter finish.
