This amber ale pours deep and dark with a little loose head. The aroma seems to be very yeasty and the noutfheel is plush with a sweetness that does not seem to work well with the hops. I did not seem to think the palate showed a great deal of promise or complexity as it semed a bit off.

Deep amber appearance with an average size, off white head and little lacing. Aroma is bready, caramel malts with an underlying metallic note. Moderately sweet malt taste, somewhat earthy, with an understated, indistinguishable hop profile. Medium bodied, decently carbonated mouthfeel with a gummy aftertaste that distracts a bit from the finish.

Fred Meyer special #2. Amber beer with a large frothy light tan head. Very subdued aroma what I get is lightly toasted malts. Flavour is better than the aroma, toffee/caramel maltiness, with a hop kick underneath. Again though like the IPA the nice flavours end too fast, half way through leaving you dissapointed. Finishes thin with some tea aspects. Ok to thin on the palte, nothing horrid. Again a very average beer, typical contract brew ( lower end).

Poured from bottle. Malty, gassy aroma. Nice malt flavor with some hops thrown in there as well. Slight toffee flavor too. However, that gassy smell kinda takes away from the flavor. OK, but not to go out of your way for.

Clear dark amber body with a medium creamy tan head. Sweet malty aroma with some caramel. Grainy malt and light caramel flavor.

Purchased @ Total Winers. pours with a nice carbo melon head, but the liquid itself sits still...Almost toooooo still. hmmm. a bit creepy. honey’ed gold colour. Taste is essentially thin and watery. Small amount of malts, some hops, mostly grass and late summer pine line, but not biting. Finish is smooth like the nose. Bland rather like earwax now that I think about it. hmm. ....oh hahaha. This is from the same people who make that awful Mississippi Mud junk.

Bottle: Poured with a big airy macro-like head over a amber and still as night liquid. The aroma is tart, like a green apple stand. The flavor is also tangy and based on a sweet caramel malt. Bit of a tea-leaf aspect to it. (#2852, 5/10/2007)

Bottle: Pours a mahogany color with light fizzy off-white head. The nose is lightly grassy and flat with metallic malts and a lack of anything really. A dull thud on the palate, barely registers. Decent mouthfeel, i’ll give it that. Uniteresting.
