Taste was okay, however, I thought it was kind of flat. It had absolutely no head when I poured it. It’s definitely not the worst beer I’ve ever had, but I thought it was nothing special. I did like it better than the Fiddlers Green Pale Ale. I suspect the fact that I got this beer at the Grocery Outlet may mean it was old, which could be the reason for the semi-flatness. jake65 (1725), Williston, North Dakota, USA

Nose is mild of citrus hops and underlying sweetness. Flavor of floral hops is faint with a larger sweet malt presence. Maybe a touch of honey too. bhensonb (4347), Woodland, California, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 8/20 | Jun 5, 2007 Very light hop, pretty light malt. Orange tinted gold color with an off-white head that froths. It even laces a bit. Medium bodied. Starts with a light citrus, accompanied by just enough malt to balance. Not all that bad, but not all that wonderful. Reid (1092), Salem, Oregon, USA

Golden beer, small but thick white head.
Bicuity malts, light grassy hops ( very light) aromas.
Smooth sweet malts , honeyish, slight lemon like flavours, I take it from the hops
Once again promising flavours trail off half way throuugh.
Not bad on the palate for the style.
Overall drinkable in a pinch but deadly boring.
Just what is the point of this series of beers?
Especially in Fred meyer were they already have a slightly better series of house beers under the Fire Station 5 logo.
I dont understand. BückDich (4854), McCall, Idaho, USA

Nose of faint husky malt, some light crispy hop. Fairly thin and papery with enough malt when warmed to get a light toast or honey note. The flavor is a bit sweet with lacking bitterness. I could call this a golden ale. Not that great, but it certainly fits the bill. beerinmarch (2829), Washington, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Apr 23, 2007 Pours golden with a tall white head. Hops and malt sweetness balance well, slight grainy flavor to the malts, mild honey sweetness. Hops were grassy with light citrus note. Slightly watery on the palate, but I find that with most blond ales. bu11zeye (5608), Frisco, Texas, USA
