Sep 29, 2008 Orangey-amber with a slight haze. Weird nose, both berryish and phenolic. Lightly toasty with hints of wood and berries.

May 23, 2007 (12oz bottle) Crystal clear amber body with small off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, orange, light grapefruit, caramel. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, some orange, caramel, light floral. Medium body, light chewiness.

Apr 28, 2007 12oz bottle. Poured a medium amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of citrus and floral. Husky. Tastes of pretty much the same. Thin body bordering on watery. Lighter bitterness.

Oct 31, 2007 Bottle... Clear golden ale with a mid-sized, wispy, white head. Great retention. Spicy, hoppy aroma presents notes of toffee, pine and grapefruit. Flavor of moderately sweet toffee and medium bitter hops. Leans just a hair on the bitter side of balance. Medium-bodied with a skim-milk mouthfeel and mild carbonation. Leaves a bitter taste and very delicate, mineral oil-like coating on my tongue. It’s not a mind bending beer, but seems a bit underrated to me.

Apr 15, 2009 Pours a transparent copper orange with a well-lacing froth of off-white head. Aroma of lightly sweet toasty pale malts and some earthy grapefruity hops. Body starts with decent fullness and some mild sweet caramel maltiness balanced with a drier, musty hop presence before a bittersweet finish. An ok IPA, but could use a more assertive and crisp hop profile.
