(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Clear orangey brown with a lively, dense, off-white head. Unclean roasted malts in the nose. Medium body with a sweetish and a little unclean roasted maltiness with a light ashy edge. Dry and lightly bitter finish. Not convincing. 050608

50 cL bottle, trade with kappldav123. Pours clear golden brown with an amber hue and a lacing light tan head. Light caramel malt, roasted and light spiced. Flavour is mild roasted, light spiced and with a nice caramel malt flavour. Ends with a mild spice and bitter flavour.

Bottle, thanks to kappldav. Wood, cherry, roast nose.Very dark ruby, creamy brown head. Chocolatl base, wooden, light vineous, sugary middle. Coffee and cherrypits retronansal - probably the most complex schwarzbier I ever had. Medium body, ok chewyness.

The bottle looks really good. The beer in the glass also. Begins very malty, but not penentrant. Very drinkable - good beer.

Bottle: Deep amber coloured, small and stable off-white head; moderate coffeeish and roast-malty nose with a touch of molasses; sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; sweetih (coffeeish)bitter finish. A decent, quaffable hybrid beer, that combines some Dunkel and some Schwarzbier qualities........

(bottle, with thanks to pivnizub) Clear, dark mahogany colour with a medium-sized, lacing beige foam. Moderately sweet, slightly dusty dark-malty aroma, slightly roasty with liquorice. Initially sweet-bitter roasted malty taste with dark chocolate, liquorice; light bodied; dry and bitter, but quite slim finish. Starts aromatic, ends a bit short.
