A hazy dark copper coloured beer with no head. A reasonable yet subtle ginger note to the aroma. Much more ginger in the mouth which has a kick of heat. A smooth pleasant base beer which becomes very nice with the ginger added. Ethereal (1500), London, Greater London, England

Tons of fresh ginger on the aroma but its not harsh. Fresh tasting with a ginger hint. Very drinkable with a soft bittersweet finish. My socks were knocked off - a great spice beer at last! I didnt really notice the ginger here but it wasnt your average bitter. Fruity hops and sweet spicy malts. FILO acidity more restrained and in place here. Quite drinkable. Lightly spiced standard bitter. The ginger warms and gives depth, but never asserts. An OK beer.
March, 2008 First In Last Out, Hastings Dry ginger. Flower fragrance. A delicate beer like ginger nuts soaked in an APA. Mmmm. [3.9]
