Oct 28, 2009 Cask conditioned gravity dispense Merchants Inn Rugby. A hazy dark copper coloured beer with no head. A reasonable yet subtle ginger note to the aroma. Much more ginger in the mouth which has a kick of heat. A smooth pleasant base beer which becomes very nice with the ginger added.

Jan 1, 2009 Cask at the Eastbourne Beer Festival, 9th Oct 2008. Clear amber. Tons of fresh ginger on the aroma but its not harsh. Fresh tasting with a ginger hint. Very drinkable with a soft bittersweet finish. My socks were knocked off - a great spice beer at last!

Jan 3, 2007 Dec 06 Cask conditioned @ FILO, Hastings. I didnt really notice the ginger here but it wasnt your average bitter. Fruity hops and sweet spicy malts. FILO acidity more restrained and in place here. Quite drinkable.

March, 2008 First In Last Out, Hastings Dry ginger. Flower fragrance. A delicate beer like ginger nuts soaked in an APA. Mmmm. [3.9]

Sep 2, 2005 Cask at First In Last Out in Hastings. A light brown beer, a bit thin in body but a nice ginger flavour with some hoppiness. I’m a bit of a sucker for ginger beers
