Feb 1, 2005 Moderate organic lager from an Irish "craft brwer". Poured a cloudy yellow colour with a fleeting 1cm head. Fresh hay in the nose and some zesty hop characters. Spoiled by some faint uric notes. Medium-bodied - firmer than you might expect for a lager. Undermined by some sour notes but it’s possible the sample was past its best (two weeks after Best Before). Quenching but unremarkable. (Bottle)
