thijs van vlijmen (256), Utrech, Netherlands Apr 19, 2005 Very nice, was my first impression, and this stayed with me, a very exciting and unexpected flavor followed by an even more unexpected palate, good one. highlandlad (1164), Sydney, Australia Feb 1, 2005 Moderate organic lager from an Irish "craft brwer". Poured a cloudy yellow colour with a fleeting 1cm head. Fresh hay in the nose and some zesty hop characters. Spoiled by some faint uric notes. Medium-bodied - firmer than you might expect for a lager. Undermined by some sour notes but it’s possible the sample was past its best (two weeks after Best Before). Quenching but unremarkable. (Bottle) Spiesy (2330), Global Citizen, Greater London, England Dec 6, 2004 Bottled. Clear golden ale. Larger malt aroma. Low carbonation. Moderate bitterness. Just. 2hansen (1), Frederiksberg, Denmark does not count Dec 2, 2004 This is an excellent lager in my point of view. Very tastful compared to other similar beers - and organic! Is for sale at Superquinn’s SilkTork (3793), Rochester, Kent, England Oct 3, 2003 Bottle. Sweet and malty with a metallic hop finish. Main body is fine - if a little sticky - but the finish is poor.
