Commercial Description:
Finnegans Irish Amber is brewed with potatoes and three varieties of imported two-row malts. The beer is pale amber in color but light in body. A gentle hop bitterness compliments its complex malt character.

Finnegans is currently available on tap and in liquor stores throughout the state of Minnesota. Finnegans is unique in that 100% of the profits are donated to The Finnegans Community Fund which disburses grants to help the working poor and at-risk youth throughout Minnesota.

Bottle. Amber pour, plenty of carbonation and a stale leg party aroma. Flavor is light, malty and a little sweet. Not horrible, just not my thing.

Golden color, with small white head. Aroma is sweet metallic malt with some grassy, grainy notes. Taste is sweet malt, notes of caramel & roasted malt. Thin mouthfeel. Pretty good but not great.

One of my choices for Super Bowl Sunday- it was ok at best. Overall, i would Summit beers are decent tasting. This beer poured a clear light amber colour with a small white head. Soft noticeable peat malt and hops on the nose. Perhaps a little milk maybe too? Potatoes are suprisingly noticeable. Taste is pretty soft a little light in the finish perhaps.

On tap at Groveland Tap St Paul MN. Clear deep orange color, minimal to no head. Mild and fizzy to begin, rolls into a sort of dry potato starchiness. Finish is soft and mild. Light bodied. Something different, I really dig this beer.

Pint draft at Kips in St Louis Park, MN. Pour is clear orange reddish golden with not much head. Aroma of some sweet maltiness, a touch of grass. Taste is the maltiness, some chemical flavor that is a bit off putting. Palate is thinnish, quick clean finish. Not offensive, just not too much going on. Appreciate the social aim of the brewery.
