pepsican (708), the beer wastelands of, Iowa, USA Jul 5, 2008 red pour with a small white head. Malty aroma. Flavor is also plenty of caramel malts. I swear I get potatoes too. Finishes watery. Not bad.
mistersinalin (267), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA Aug 1, 2008 Okay, an irish ale brewed in St. Paul should be better, but when you’re at an event or hockey game at the Xcel Center, this is great compared to the standard Bud/Miller offerings. It has less body than I woul want and leaves a bit of a dirty aftertaste. Shag (1769), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA May 30, 2008 Updated: Jul 3, 2008A copper color with a white head. The aroma is caramel and sweet potatoes. The flavor has a veggie presence with some caramel and dark fruit. According to my rating notes not in my hand writing....... Cheri has big tits. iowaherkeye (1382), rocking podunk Marengo!, Iowa, USA May 24, 2008 Updated: May 25, 200812oz bottle, no date thanks to Eric (heemer77). Clear amber golden with a small off-white head that faded to a thin ring after about 10 seconds with no film. Aroma has some toasted grain and a bit of caramel. There is also the rubber from the top of the screw on growler caps--that bead of rubber, and a tinge of pear skin. Flavor has some corn and toasted grain with a bit of nondescript fruity tang. Toasty finish with minimal hop bitterness. Lifeless body, save for the faintest tingle of carbonation that leaves the body a fair amount heavier than it actually is. Not any good. heemer77 (3647), Savannah, Missouri, USA May 7, 2008 Bottled. The body is dark amber with a lightly off white head. The aroma has some apples and caramel. There is also some light citrus. The taste is bitter orange peels with some nice black pepper spice in the finish. There is also a little bit of root vegetable character. The body is highly carbonated. A little strange.
