Fruity, yeasty, sugar cookie aroma with specks of light spice. Initially a whisper of carbonation, then mellow with a tasty dark cherry underbelly, soft honeyed sweetness and doughy malts. Hints of metallic sharpness are followed by a sour fruit aspect. Medium body. This falls apart quickly in the middle and I lost interest. Finishes thinner, yeasty, chalky but with a saving mix of sour fruit and sweet cookie dough. This is quite the strange little brew. Don’t think it was the drink of choice on the movie set. Light mouthfeel, and hints of fruitiness, mellow and smooth. Some might call it boring, but I rather enjoyed it, and will likely try it again on its own. booyaatribe (453), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 26, 2003 very little aroma, and virtually no head; cloudy brown in color; slightly sweet taste - the alcohol is better disguised in this one than in Huyghe's Delirium Tremens Brad (364), Berkley, Michigan, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 25, 2005 Brown/Amber with nice light tan head. Aromas of caramel, lemons, brown sugar. Tastes sweet sugary toffee, malt, alcohol and metals in the finish. Lasting aftertaste waters the mouth. Still nothing compared to most Belgian Strongs. Delbomber (387), Philadelphia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 12, 2001 Quite mild. Very little substance, better suited for those just trying new beers that aren’t named Bud or Miller. For the more seasoned beer drinking veteran, this is a boring experience. Dark with a slightly raisin and fruit aroma, with a taste that hints at figs and/or raisins (again, too faint to decipher).
