Very lightly sweet malt aroma, actually a little stale. Light brown amber color, fair label. Tangy, lightly sweet, hopping is a bit off and the flavors are muddy. Some sour fruit - apricot or something. Medium to medium light body. FInishes with tart maltiness. A bit disappointing. Thanks to PorterPounder for this one.

Bottle. Ehh - I tried to like it because one of my best friends (who is a fireman) shared this with me and was excited - partially because of it’s name but mostly because he really thought it was good. Not good at all. Weak, flat with virtually no character. PASS.

this is not a good beer. there is hardly any aroma. malts and hops are slightly funky. plus their is an astringent finish.

Courtesy of Nick76. The aroma is all smooth sweet malts with faint toasted grain notes. The body is a pretty spot on amber/copper color and holds a diminishing off white head. The fore is toasty grains, but is fairly light and delicate on the tongue. The finish is mildly fruity/toasty. Not bad, but definitely not a standout.

Bottle... Poureed a reddish, amber color with a thin head that cleared quickly. Tart, malt aroma... pretty bad. Flavors of strong malt with a floral presence and a mild bitterness. I don’t really like this style all that much and this beer doesn’t do anything to change my opinion of it.

Light to medium malt aroma with some light floral. Copper color. Frothy beige head that melts rather rapidly. Medium bodied. Mild carbonation. Starts with malt of a medium sort, but there is always a hint of bitter. If there’s fruit, I am losing it in the malt. Floral, on the other hand I think is present. Strong swishing seems to bring a hint of stone fruit, but? Decent, but can you buy better? Is this good value? Only you will know.

Savannah, Ga. - Kroger Supermarket - 12 oz bottle - medium copper pour, lacking in head. Aroma is faint, some fresh lake water and toffee. Flavor has some home brew diactyl funkiness, a hint of toffee and some nuttiness. Thin mouthfeel. Not one for the ages.
