The flavor is horrible, the worst wheat beer i’ve ever had, it tastes like someone filtered this beer through some dirty gym socks, I cant believe Pyramid released this crap. poisoneddwarf (216), Rathdrum, Idaho, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/20 | Dec 16, 2009 12 oz bottle. Faint aromas of banana, super sweet caramel--definitely doesn’t smell the way a good hefeweizen should smell. Appearance is worse. Looks flat--no head, no lacing. Dreadful hazy orange hue. First taste: if this is a hefeweizen, I’m the fucking pope. Sickeningly sweet taste. Tastes old. I hope I’m not doing this beer an injustice by ranking an out of date bottle (although I wasn’t expecting much in the first place). Lots of carbonation. Nasty chemical aftertaste. WTF is this thing I’m drinking? I think it needs its own category, ’cause it’s clear to anyone at least halfway knowledgeable about beer that this isn’t hefeweizen. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | May 12, 2009 Medium amber, golden color. Sweet yeasty notes in the aroma. Pale dry wheat flavor. Should have a crisp mouthfeel. This is bland, no real spice notes until the end. Well carbonated but too clean. Dont know what this beer is trying to be. ditmier (1110), Boise, Idaho, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 3, 2009 fruity smell like oranges or ruby red grapefruit. cloudy, but has the color of watered down apple juice. not very appealing looking. pours with moderate head. tastes wheaty and a little bitter. faint cheap taste in the background that stays longer than I’d like but leaves. feels gritty and highly carbonated. overall, the beer is fairly decent, but ultimately isn’t very satisfying. gator2683 (140), Anchorage, Alaska, USA

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 28, 2008 Bottle. A disappointing brew. I tried this while on vacation in Arizona. Muddy complexion and unimpressive flavors. I added an orange slice to give the "citrus" notes a little boost. Overall, a thin (no spices to speak of) and bland. I would have given it a poorer rating, but the orange slice helped give the beer some character.
