I was pleasantly surprised by the aroma and its taste. My first thoughts after a drink were, ’fruity!’, as stated before, it has a very sweet aroma and a malty taste. I like it, good stuff. rebelbrewer (125), Lithonia, Georgia, USA

It formed a very thin white head that quickly diminished. The color is slightly darker than straw and clear. The aroma is of caramel malts and quite pleasant. The taste is much the same, but to be clear not sweet. It is very easy on the palate. I like this brew. poisoneddwarf (225), Rathdrum, Idaho, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 24, 2009 22 oz bottle. Aroma is of hops (not what I expected from a blonde) and malt. Pours a nice golden color with a thick head which whittles itself down pretty quickly, leaving a thin but constant head. Flavor is more bitter than expected, and there’s definitely some maltiness here. There’s also a metallic taste I’m not too crazy about. All in all, I’m pleasantly surprised by this beer. I’ve always equated blonde ales with bland ales. This one isn’t too bad. dirkbag (3), Oregon, USA does not count | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 16/20 | Feb 22, 2009 Nice, crisp, and refreshing. Very light in taste. Its not the best beer by far, but I give it credit for other blondes, I’ve had. Definitely close to the top of that category. robforbes (1114), Bremerton, Washington, USA

smell is of wheat, hay, and a hint of floral.
taste is crisp, wheaty, sweet, and just a little bit bitter.
overall not that bad, I’m pleasantly surprised, i normally don’t care for the blonde’s and nor the beers that are made for specific stores (Fred Meyer). bhensonb (4401), Woodland, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 1, 2010 Bomber from the local Grocery Outlet store. Pours hazy apricot with a decent foamy white head. Aroma is citric light fruit. Meidum body with mild carbonation. Rather like light stone fruit with some citrus hop bitter. It’s not too bitter at first impression, but it builds. Thought it might be a drain pour. Nope. Better than very many lighter ales. garrison (464), Cin. city, Ohio, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 24, 2006 From a 12 ounce bottle - This one pours a golden, fizzy liquid with a dense white head and a really strong malt sugar aroma. The taste is light in body and very malty, with just a touch of hops at the finish. Not a bad beer, but not that great, either. - - - - - By the way, this beer is now contract brewed in Utica, New York by the Matt X Brewery; somebody needs to change the brewer

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Oct 6, 2007 Aroma is more hoppy than malty, not strong but still quite inviting, with a bit of an alcohol nip to it. Color is a clear golden, and the head does not persist for long. Flavor is very smooth, crisp, hoppy but only slightly bitter and just a hint of fruity taste. It leaves my mouth feeling satisfied and tingly, ready for another swig.
