Bottle. Pours clear light gold with a lacy white head. But says its unfiltered - maybe a lot finings? Anyway I shook up the last half ounce and poured it into my beer to get an almost appropriately hazy appearance. Not a lot going on in the nose, seems dusty, with a little bit of lemon. Medium-light body and moderate carbonation. A bit of fruit, spice and wheat in the taste and the lightly sour finish.

12 oz bottle

I picked this up at Party Source along with a few other random beers. It looked interesting but looks can be decieving. This is a run of the mill average release - better than most macros but not as good as many of the craft beers. In the end I could drink it again but would be likely to turn it down unless there was a good reason.

Aroma / Appearance - The two finger khaki colored head billowed above the top of my glass before settling to something more reasonable. Underneath was a caramel colored body which was fluid and lively. The scent of rye banana bread mingled with grain and wheat to form a combination which gave the right idea but didn’t execute well. In the end I felt indifferent about it.

Flavor / Palate - The tartness kicks off a pretty predictable experience. Overcooked banana bread mixes with a slighy funkiness and some wheatiness. Nothing really stood out at all. If I had to summarize it in one word that would be ’meh’.

Poured a dark pale orange, with a thick 1" head. Smelled fresh of wheat, bread, grain. I thought it had a very pleasant and refreshing taste. Full bodied but not too bitter. Left a long aftertaste, which was good. Overall, the only thing I didnt like about this beer was the carbonation, there was just a little too much of it. I gave the beer a sharp taste that didnt appeal to my palate. Im pretty sure this was a new bottle, because it didnt have any skunky or stale characteristics whatsoever. Overall, good beer. I really like their Pyramid heffeweisen.

Cloudy orange gold with lots of yeast floating around. Aroma is very wheaty with touches of lemon and cereal grains. Flavor is exactly the same with a light citrus finish. Finishes light and refreshing. Personally I thought this was pretty good for a supermarket beer.

It pours a golden, slightly cloudy amber with a thick head, darker than most hefeweissens I have sampled. Aroma is strongly hoppy and has a tingly bite to it. Flavor is richly malty with a touch of hops and citrus hints. There is no thinness or wateriness, just good wheaty flavor. A very pleasant brew.
