No aroma, can't get over that. Oily appearance, german wheat flavor with lots of citrus notes, musky palate and makes me want a real wheat beer.

Bottle with the name Fire Hydrant. Poured hazy orange with a large fizzy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate sour citrus, banana and clove aroma. Light o medium body. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium sour finish of moderate duration.

Bland for a hefeweizen, but quite drinkable. Comes something of a blond ale, as opposed to hefeweizen, but there’s a hint of clove and banana. A bit of cooked cereal. There is sediment, but it must be pasteurized. It’s drinkable, but many others should rank ahead of this. Heck, in summer I could drink a lot of this.

Very light yellow gold color, very hazy. Large white foamy head. Aroma is mild, grassy, grainy and fruity. A medium bodied hefeweizen. Malts are fruity and really sweet. Only a touch of banana and clove flavor. Hops are slightly bitter. Light and refreshing. A crisp and clean hefe. Lively carbonated. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Savannah, Ga. - Kroger Supermarket - 12 oz bottle - murky light orange appearance, thin white head. Faint hint of banana in the aroma, some mint. Lemony flavor with some spicy hints. Full bodied mouthfeel with some back end citrus notes. Best of the three out my makeshift Fire Station variety pack.

Cloudy dark yellow with a moderate clumpy head. Dusty aroma of lemon and yeast. Flavour starts out sharp on the tongue with a spritzy pepper touch. Additional flavours are bread and yeast with a touch of lemon. Finish is dusty spice. Not remarkable but again interesting brewed for a grocery chain.

Bottle. Slight peach and clove aroma. Cloudy pale orange yellow color with small head. Slightly sour peach apple flavor with light clove finish - almost like a less sour Berliner Weisse. Really was expecting a typical American Wheat with this beer but was pleasantly surprised. Very nice light beer - well crafted. Although not like a typical Hefeweizen, it has an interesting flavor - would be a great summer day beer and would probably be good with some sweetened fruit syrup a’la a Berliner Weisse.
