Jul 21, 2006 12oz bottle from Party Town in Florence KY (Not Fred Meyer Grocery Store) - Pours amber slightly cloudy with a nice 1 finger foamy offwhite head. Aromas of grapefruit and pine. Flavor is a nice caramel and biscuit malt and grapefruit blend that comes together pretty well. Sort of resiny on the palate and medium bodied. A pretty drinkable and I thought better than average IPA.

Jul 8, 2006 Bottle: Clear copper with an minimal head. Typical floral hop aromas and pine. Nice bitter hoppy taste, but it has a cardboardy finish that isn’t pleasant. I don’t know if it is a full bodied beer as the commercial description proffers, maybe medium. It has a dry finish with average carbonation. Not bad for Freddy.

Jun 28, 2006 Bottle Pours a very clear bright pale orange witha nice medium sized head. Thick chunky lacing. Lots of effervescence. Decent hop aroma, a bit cardboardy and not so bright and citursy as top notch IPAs. Malty and mildy hoppy flavor combo with a disticnt papery aftertaste. Feel is smooth and rather full bodied for this Fred Meyer IPA. Pleasantly surprised, though my hopes were not hight to begin with.

Jun 23, 2006 Nice hop aroma on an orange/amber pour. A decent hop, sweet malt balance with a good sweetish finishing bitter. Not really watery or over carbonated. A beer I enjoyed.

Jun 11, 2006 Bottle. Pint glass. Pours golden amber, with decent carbonation: long-lasting, off white head with a hard pour. Aroma is of typical northwest IPA- citrus, grapefruit. The best past of the beer is the nice rounded hop flavor midway through the taste spectrum, which then gently leans towards the nutty, fresh malt backbone. Finishes crisp, with mild bittering. If you are grilling outside on a 75degree afternoon, this is a good go-to beer, as the hop presence and drinkability are quite enjoyable.

May 15, 2006 Pours light golden with a slight orangish tint and a foamy off-white head. Aroma of mild grapefruit and pleasant hop resin. Taste is pleasantly hoppy, but not intensely hoppy. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and only slightly resinous.

May 1, 2006 gold with a large foamy white head. floral hops, grapefruit, mandarin orange aroma. well hopped. grapefruit and flowery hops in flavor. metallic aftertaste. lightly carbonated. needs some more malts. actually better than i expected.

Apr 25, 2006 Picked this up at a KROGER in Atlanta. This is a good drinking IPA. Nice head, great color in the glass, has a nice balance of flavors.
