Bov (4604), Bienne, Switzerland Aug 8, 2008 courtesy of MadDan - pours a hazy reddish colour with a poor head retention; notes of red fruits and chewy malts in the nose; sweet and medium-bodied, some tartness, quite bitter, dry bitter and slightly fruity finish RichJ7 (859), Cullman, Alabama, USA May 18, 2008 Cloudy amber in color with a thin white head. Mildly earthy hop aroma. Tastes awfully sweet for a pale ale. Almost no hop presence that I could find. Smooth. I’m sure it’d be a decent session beer, but it’s far more of an amber ale than an APA. mustangjoe (168), redondo beach, California, USA Apr 26, 2008 Pretty standard American pale ale. Hoppy aroma and flavor, though not overwhelmingly so. They go down pretty easily. JorisPPattyn (4262), Antwerpen, Belgium Apr 22, 2008 Draught Red amber beer, with no head. "Hot" malts, BBQ sauce, meaty esters, but not unpleasant. Bitter taste, pretty hoppy if nowhere exaggerated. Light to medium bodied. Virtually no aftertaste, beer falling flat. Not undeserving, but ending too lame. thooper41 (207), USA Apr 13, 2008 12oz bottle: pours amber brown with decent white head, aroma filled with pale malt, flavor typical pale ale malts with a slight bit of hops.
