Palidor19 (1325), Brandon, Florida, USA Jul 17, 2008 it has its good qualities yet everything seems to be standard instead of something special. still its got the hops and malt that you want for this beer.
Angeloregon (2008), Portland, Oregon, USA Oct 5, 2008 From a bottle--Poured a clear copper-amber body with a small bubbly, whitish head. Hop spiced with bold Cascades that gave off a grapefruit and mild pine nose. Sharp hop bitterness up front that travels toward back of tongue, lingering with creamy yeastiness. Fairly clean, sharp NW hops presence. Finishes with little other than faint bready malt and full-on hops bitterness. ChazMania (300), Pasadena, California, USA Oct 4, 2008 Bottled. Very good and crisp flavor. I recognize the hop profile from their Union Jack. What hop is this? I like it. Very easy drinking, kind of beer you could drink all day. With a low abv it would be easy to do and it tastes good! luv_casks (178), USA Sep 29, 2008 Golden pale ale with a nice white head with fine beading of bubbles. Toffee and slightly nutty malt aroma with leafy hop aroma (slight citrus)
Nice clean malt note with drying notes of spicy and firm bitterness.
Finish: This is where this beer shines long lasting dry citrus pith like notes with some toffee like notes as well.
Overall: A really well made pale ale. I would say enjoy at cellar temps makes the beer more enjoyable nqualls (422), Tennessee, USA Sep 22, 2008 On tap. Poured a clear amber color with a two finger white head. Aroma of hops and a slight hint of malt. Flavor is citrus with a decent malt backing. Magic_dave6 (4012), London, Greater London, England Sep 19, 2008 Bottle at GBBF and one at home. This stuff totally blew me away, like i sampled one at the fest and had to buy one to bring home. Aroma is soo fresh and hoppy, citrus hop resin, leafy green hops, good underlying pale biscuity malt character. Taste is similar, quite a bitter chap too. Like id happily sit and drink like 10 of these every weekend and i wouldnt get bored. Excellent! Lets just hope thats what they are makign a cask vertion of for the wetherspoon fest!
