Shared at the C-Bus 7. Amber brown beer with a thin beige head. Big sweet nose of dark candi sugar, wood and alcohol. Flavors included dark pit fruit, melted toffee, barrel wood, vanilla, bourbon, and noticable alcohol. As stated, this is a very complex beer.

Cbus 7. A great beer shared by nolankowal although it was a gift from ohiodad. Poured a medium brown color with a little white tan head. Aroma of alcohol, bourbon, malty, fruitiness, and really complex overall. I guess that is a given since it is already 4 beers in one.

Thanks Jason! The beer pours to a really dark mahogany body with a nice tan head. The aroma has a lot going on. Sweet chocolates, nutty characteristics, oak. The flavor is borderline wine barrel aged caramelly chocolate scotch ale. Better as it decants. The palate is rich, creamy, full bodied.

Bottle that was a birthday gift from Ohiodad and shared at CT7! Dirty borwn pour with a short off white head. Aroma of oak, coconut, booze, caramel malt and earthy hops. Flavors of oak, coconut, roasted malt, light smoke, earthy hops and chocolate. Medium thick body...roasty and woody with a dry/sweet finish. Very interesting stuff.

C-bus 7. This was my biggest suprise of the evening--in a good way that is. Aroma of roasted malts, brown sugar, and oak. Black body with a thin head. Extremely full palate--this baby is big! Flavors are oak, some alcohol warmth, and plenty of roasted malt. Complex taste for sure. I love the way that the alcohol and oak flavors work together here, creating a very nice sipper. Lovely.

From such a dark rich looking brew, aroma is surprisingly shy. You smell the barrel it was aged in, along with dark fruits caramel and anise, all distinct but somewhat light, lots of flavors including caramels bourbon, vanilla all somewhat subtle smooth as can be,hops weren’t to much of a factorvery interesting brew. You just have to enjoy that its not as big bodied as it looks

22oz bottle from my Secret Santa last year and shared at the Columbus Tasting- Pours dark brown with a tan bubbly head and a little lace. Aromas of mats, caramel, chocolate, nuts, dark fruit, and some pine hops. Flavor is caramel, chocolate, nuts, pine, and a good amount of oak. Full body with medium carbonation a good soft mouthfeel and a slightly bitter finish. This beer was very impressive!! and a nice one to celebrate #2300 with.
