22oz bottle from my Secret Santa last year and shared at the Columbus Tasting- Pours dark brown with a tan bubbly head and a little lace. Aromas of mats, caramel, chocolate, nuts, dark fruit, and some pine hops. Flavor is caramel, chocolate, nuts, pine, and a good amount of oak. Full body with medium carbonation a good soft mouthfeel and a slightly bitter finish. This beer was very impressive!! and a nice one to celebrate #2300 with.

This beer is everything, a yummy drinkable barkeywine, with an exceptional complexity of bourbon, whisky, vanilla, and wood. A strong ale, this is an evening 12% and it is drinkable yet deserves sipping, after several minutes of aroma.. All kinds of hops, spearmint, peppermint.

Bottle. Pours a muddy brown, near black, body with a bubbly white head. Dark fruity aroma with bread and vanilla-bourbony notes. Overwhelming alcohol in the flavour accompanied by chocolate malt and some hoppy orange flavour. Lots of oak influence and sugary sweetness. Decent but quite big and potent.

dark resiny black pour with a whispy tan head. strong vanilla coconut resiny aroma with some toasted nuts, raisins, and peat. thick and creamy body. flavors follow the aroma with some extra coffee, chocolate, and date flavors. the strong vanilla, coconut, and dates make this unique beer quite tropical. beautiful balance definitely worth a try if you get a chance

Sampled at the Woodshop Tasting. Poured a dark brown color with a small head. Aroma was huge oak with toffee, caramel, dark fruits, smoke, vanilla and alcohol. The flavor was full of the same, so complex and easy drinking for such a high alcohol.

22 oz big thanks to drewbeerme for this sample. Pours a mahogany black in color with almost no head. Interesting nose smoke, toffee, coffee, vanilla ... hmmm .. reminds me of a our homebrew werewolf flanders ... The flavors are complex black licorice, toffee, some dark fruits, candied sugar tar, and pine, opening up more and more as it warms to room temperature. I’m enjoying most of these "ten" beers and although this one is a lot different than others I’ve had. I am a big fan of the depth and array of flavors. A decent brew.
