Pours a deep chocolate brown with a 2 finger beige head that dissipated quickly. Amazing aromas of dark fruits, toffee, caramel, chocolate and coffee. Flavor held much of the same with the booze being hidden pretty well for 11%. This beer definitely lived up to all the hype. glkaiser (1172), Seattle, Washington, USA

Lots of nutty bourbon, oak and roasted malts with caramel. Good, but too much barrel and not enough beer. sebletitje (1986), Tampa, Florida, USA

A very good and rare offering.
Pours clear brown, with white head.
Aroma and taste were very sweet, roasted with caramel. Oaky, leaving a liquor-like aftertaste. SuzyGreenberg (1408), Seattle, Washington, USA
