Had this beer on 9/14/1999. Aroma is a light malt scent. Color is a deep amber with good carbonation and head. Taste is rich and malty with a slightly hoppy bitter finish.

Bottle: Dark amber color with a nice off-white head. Sour and grainy aroma. The taste is a bit like leather polish and the aftertaste of the carbonation of club soda. Something doesn’t seem all the way right. Thanks BuckeyeBoy.

<Bottle pours a clear amber with a full sandy colored head. Malty tree bark aroma with some spiciness. Flavor is soft lightly roasted malts. Some caramel and earthy. Almost like a brown ale. Softly carbonated.

12oz Bottle pours out a clear amber topped with a off white head. Aroma malt. Pretty thin on the body. Not a lot going on.

light burnt amber color with a medium tan head. pleasant aroma of spiced caramel and a light wood note. well balance malt flavors with the lightest amount of wood and a decent bitterness, the floral spiciness of the hops are light but noticeable. well balanced and very easy drinking

22oz Bomber, 9/18/07. Pours a crystal clear deep red color with nice rich foam that leaves great lacing and sticks around throughout the entire glass. Aroma is full of rich malts with a perfect balance of spicy hops. Flavor is a lot of malt, very good malt, very tasty malt, very malty malt. Mmmm, malty malt malt malt. Little bit of hoppiness in the finish, not a complete malt bomb but the malt flavor is just downright tasty. May have been a time/place thing, watching the sun set over the pacific while sitting in a hot tub would improve anyones perspective.

On the pour, dark and frothy with medium deminishing head. Dark ruby color. Smells hoppy and fresh. Taste is hops, medium bitterness, very good. Strength intensifies as it warms. This went really well with the pizza I was eating. This style is one of my favorites, something I really like drinking. Delicious.

Amber in color with nice head. Has a weird sweet cotton candy like arome. Not sure what to make of the flavour. Drinking this right after a really hoppy beer which could be adding to my confusion. Decent. Cheers!
