Smell is malty and sweet. Nice taste, clean and refreshing. Went down very easy. Could drink alot of these. Had been eyeing it for some time at the store where I used to go to school, but I never bought it. Pretty sweet, yet rather refreshing. Probably pretty good from the tap, reminds me, in a strange way, of Anchor Steam. chadje (130), Pasadena, California, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jul 24, 2006 Tap in California. Translucent and amber colored with a creamy washtub layer of grey for the head. Honey dough biscuits and orange blossom honey kick things off with golden braised pecans, roasted maize and mild musky hop bouquets. Flavor washes over with bran flakes and corn flakes, somewhat meeting in the center and forming an off-centered Honey Bunches of Oats display. Cold and rustic, with rubbery caramel and praline bubblegum traits. Decreased carbonation opens the floodgate to the watered down aspects while caramel glazed golden sweet corn does little to entice. Medium to light bodied and way too rushed. Finish is compounded by honey dough whole wheat bread and some rough corn husks. Tmoney99 (4745), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Moderate spicy sweet fruit aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Medium balanced sweet flavor with a smooth sweet finish of moderate duration. scanman (146), Santa Cruz, California, USA

This is fun on its own. The kinda beer you don’t want to eat with. Nice smooth bubbly finish. Saarlander (1579), Rancho Cucamonga, California, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 11, 2006 Bottle. Pours a copper-amber body with a small white head. Aroma is malty and simplistic - bread is apparent without much else though there is some faint orangey chocolate. The flavour is light and APA-like with some orange hops and a strange bread/caramel texture. Drinkable but pretty boring overall. OldMrCrow (1192), Seattle, Washington, USA

Pours red-brown, a typical amber ale. Hints of citrusy hops and brown-sugar malt on the aroma, straightfoward amber-ale taste, enough hops to keep it from being disappointing, enough malt to keep it from being too thin -- but not enough of either to make it more than yet another drinkable amber ale.
