Bright copper color with a taller light tan head. Sweeter aromas of sugar cookies, orange blossom honey and just hints of pale malt. I find it to be slightly thin in feel (lightly watery mixed with higher carbonation). An english flare to this one that I do enjoy. Mild lightly earthy malt mix with floral hops. A nice balanced brew. Wow, a couple ambers in a row that I have liked. I’m slightly worried that I may be losing it.

The aroma was malty sweet w/ oranges, slight coriander and a slight dark fruit/spice note. The flavor had oak, malts, a slight citrus and a little roast astringency. The beer poured a brownish orange color w/ reddish hues; thin lasting head and lacing. The mouthfeel was light to medium body, creamy, and bold through the middle, but very light on the tip of the tongue.

My expectations of Double Barrel were too high on this beer. Malty English bitter with caramel and butterscotch flavors. Hops and oak barrel flavor are fleeting.

Tap at Falling Rock. Pours a lush gold/amber with a full head. Aroma is like a nice English bitter. Flavor is a nice balance of bitter malt and floral hops. Good beer.

Bottle. Clear dark golden amber w/dissapearing white head. Aroma is sweet hoppy with honey. Taste is malty caramel. Very drinkable. I like the maltiness in a pale ale.

An amber beer with a huge orange head. The aroma is sweet hoppy with light caramelic notes. The flavor is sweet caramelic combined with quite a lot of alcohol - surprising for such a low ABV beer, the flavor is also slighlty dusty. Too simple, which makes it somewhat boring.

Bottle. Orange colour with a small off-white head. Light sweet hoppy aroma and a sweet caramel hoppy taste. Medium body and a sweet finish. 5-3-6-3-13 Re-rate. Blind tasting. 7-4-6-3-13

Light brown colour. No head. Malty aroma and flavor, something like the standard Brooklyn.
