Light sweet hoppy aroma. Flavor is mily hoppiness, followed by some malt characteristics. Definitely drinakble & very "sessionable," but nothing to write home about. mephisto (1144), Taiwan

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 7, 2005 Clear auburn pour supporting a medium light khaki head with average lacing. Primarily malty aroma with some astringent element. Flavor of toasted malt, a little caramel, pine and hops. Finish was somewhat dry and slightly bitter. Nothing special here but not a bad beer. ojclark (69), Santa Monica, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 4, 2005 Initial malty, mildly hoppy aroma that diminished very quickly. Clear deep amber color with a frothy tan head that lasted for several minutes and left medium lacing. Flavor was well balanced slightly in favor of bitterness and a mellow spicy "British" hop flavor and slight roasty notes. Slight diacetyl was a nice addition to the flavor. Aftertaste was a good mix of malt, bitterness and hop flavor. Lively carbonation and medium/light body with a fairly dry finish. crazyvin (1255), New York, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Apr 29, 2005 very rich malty aroma consostong of caramel and yeast tones and a nice hint of hops. Poured a rich amber color with a thin white head and decent retention. Unfortunatly i found the flavor rather mild. It had nice malt tones and a slightly bitter hop edge. Flavor seemed good, but watered down. It was the one dow side to this beer. Cletus (5060), Connecticut, USA

Hoppy Aroma
No sighting of the beer since I drank it from a brown bag on Venice Beach - quite a surreal experience I might add.
Hoppy and fruity tastenotes, apricot,
dont get much barrelflavor, a bit vanilla.
Light body, sparkly mouthfeel.
