On tap at the Firestone night at Stone Bistro. Pours a dark copper with off-white head. Lots of fruit in this one. Caramel, grapefruit, toffee, dark fruit, and sweet bready malt. Pretty good beer, well balanced.

Numba 10! Appearance: Pours like a murky apple cider with a few soapy suds a top. Almost looks like a kraussened yeast starter. Aroma: Caramel, hard cider, spiced cider, spicy hops, pear and dark booze. Taste: Caramel, bitter euro hops, apple crisp and dark rum. Mouthfeel: thick and warming. Overall: My god I loved it. While on paper its double the double barrel ale, its really like 10 x better than OG DBA.

Cloudy reddish brown with a full sheet of frothiness laced to all hell. Nose was toasty with underlying hoppiness pointing in a herbal, spicy direction. Plump, citrus flavors..fruit flesh, like apricot and overripe peach. Bitter finish that turns somewhat chalky and/or plasticy. full bodied.

8th rating. Tap at Stone’s Firestone night tonight. Pours copper with no head. Nose is sweet and boozy. Taste is sweet, boozy, somewhat hoppy, very much liquory, and east coast hoppy.

Had this on tap at Bailey’s Taproom in Portland, OR. Colour... dark amber with an ecru head. Nose... MALTY! Mapleine, sweet, toffee, treacle. Palate... VERY MALTY! Coating, Scottish toffee, brown sugar, dulce de leche, turbinado and a loooooong finish!

On tap at the brewery in Paso Robles, it was an opaque gold pour with a nice balance between hops and malt. Very smooth

Tap at City Beer. Pours with a hazy dirty brown color. Nice aromas of wood and leather. Flavors exhibit some alcohol hotness but also some nice notes of toastiness and wood. In addition there is some caramel and butterscotch. A complex beer that is more subtle than most bourbon barrel aged beers.
