Draught @ Brouwer’s Café:   Vibrant amber, frothy white head, nice lacing, lively carbonation.   Musty hop nose, a little citrus peel.   Mild sweetness, a little bitter, but at 9.5% ABV it comes across as a lighter beer.   Feeks like a 1 1/2 IPA.   Needs more malt to balance it out.   Clean, soft bitterness, but this needs some more malt sweetness and a bit bigger body.   As is its a moderate body and mouthfeel.   Lingering citrus rind and hop bitterness.   Tiz okay, but its in need of more malts, sweetness, and a bigger body.

Cask Stillage from the Jug at the GABF, Colorado Convention Center 26/09/2009 Big hop aroma. Small white head. Golden coloured and very hoppy with a pine fruit flavour. Crisp and creamy on the palate with a little dryness in a bitter malt finish.

On tap at the firestone night at Sotne Bistro. Pours a amber/gold with white head. Citrus, sweet malt, lots of fresh hops, caramel, floral notes, and some pine. A really tasty IIPA.

From a growler shared by DuffManSW, thanks for sharing Sean. Rating #44. Very clear darkish gold pour with a very nice fat white head and real good lacing. Great hop aroma, a little sweet and citrusy. Flavor was a little sweet as well, more citrus and a slight fruitiness as well, not to mention a nice lingering dose of hops that lasted for awhile, very well done. Good stuff. (1029)

On tap @ Toronado SD. Clear golden with a small off-white head, low retention. Lots of overly sweet citrus, peach, and caramel in the nose. Flavor is much the same with too much sweetness. Bitterness peaks @ a 5 in the dry finish with just a little alcohol. Medium body with light prickly carbonation. The pint of Alpine Nelson rocked this 5 times more. In conclusion, I didn’t love this beer much.

Pours a clear amber with a solid off-white head. thick floral nose, quite perfumey, with maybe some orange blossom. Thick, syrupy mouth with flavors of orange blossom, flowers, and sweetness. I mean, it gets good flavors out of the ingrediants but its way too syrupy thick and sweet for my liking.

Sampled at GABF. Big, piny hoppy aroma. Some sweet malt too. Flavor is oily resin hops, big hop flavor. Mouthfeel was nice, thick, but not syrupy. Pretty impressed with this one.
