Big hop aroma. Small white head. Golden coloured and very hoppy with a pine fruit flavour. Crisp and creamy on the palate with a little dryness in a bitter malt finish. bhensonb (4304), Woodland, California, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 24, 2009 Tap at Sac Brew. Pours a pretty orange/copper with a largish creamy beige head. Seems full bodied. Carbonation is quite creamy. Hop is strong and citric. A really smooth and pleasant brew with a deal of bitter. Bitter coats the mouth. In a creamy sort of way. It’s very surprising and pleasant. It’s very thick. No hop shortage in Paso Robles. WeeHeavySD (2990), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 9, 2009 On Tap. White head clear bronze body. Hoppy goodness aroma, mango, exotic fruits, caramel and table sugar. Taste is mango and exotic hops (no other way to describe it; it is a jungle of hops!) nicely balanced out caramel malt backing. Medium carbonation. Great. kmweaver (2465), Sebastopol, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 4, 2009 Draft @ Sac Brew. Pours a bright, clear orange color; creamy off-white head with forever lacing; great pour. A basic aroma of sweet fruitiness, nondescript; some orange and earthy hoppiness comes into play; still, lax. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: very sweet, sticky candy sugar and candied orange sweetness; a very disappointing, flabby presence in the mouth; one-sided sweetness. Lasting finish: the candy sugar and oranges eventually dissipate into a basic bitterness that should have appeared long before this.
