DuffMan (2719), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada Oct 26, 2009 On tap at 4th Street Pub in SF, with the tap-handle labelled "4th Street Blonde". Deep golde with a frothy white cap. Sweet biscuity malt aroma and flavour with soft honey tones. An approachable flavourful ale with subtle hop haracter and low bitterness. can8ianben (903), Pasadena, California, USA Sep 10, 2009 A really bland watery beer - I can see how this would be one they’d be hoping to serve to the masses. Lighter color, thin white frothy head. nimbleprop (819), SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA Jul 28, 2009 Sampled on tap at Union Ale. I was able to get a special preview of these beers from one of the owners. Pours a hazy gold, bordering on a bronze/amber with a wispy white head. Aroma was all honey and flowers. Flavor was very nice, the honey came through very well, with some spice and Belgian yeast flavors. Sweet, wet finish. badlizard (2324), Berkeley, California, USA May 21, 2009 Honey aroma and taste with a nice crisp finish and more honey flavors. Decent. Earlier Rating: 3/29/2009 Total Score: 3.4 Clear golden with a fluffy white head. Sweet honey aroma and taste with bread and citrus notes. fiulijn (7150), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Oct 16, 2008 Draught at the Yardhouse, Las Vegas Hazy deep blond color. Very simple ale, refreshing, with an extremely light honey touch. alexanderj (2204), Chino Hills, California, USA Sep 19, 2008 ON tap at the Chino Hills Yard House; dark gold in color; not much white head. Aroma of honey, buttered bread and flowers; sweet. Flavor of lightly toasted bread, caramel and hints of apple. Easy drinking and actually pretty tasty for the style. Ungstrup (14723), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 7, 2008 Draft at Yard House, Pasadena. A golden beer with a slight chill haze under a rocky medium off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of citrus as well as eucalyptus and honey, reminds me of the freshness a eucalyptus drop gives on the tongue. yespr (11613), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 6, 2008 From tap at Yards, Pasadena. Pours clear and golden blonde with lacing white head. Aroma is mild caramelish and light fruity too. Flavour is dry and light hoppy yet with a nice caramel malt base. Light tee-ish lasting finish. Mild and easy.
