Aroma is mild caramelish and light fruity too. Flavour is dry and light hoppy yet with a nice caramel malt base. Light tee-ish lasting finish. Mild and easy. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 1, 2008 On tap at a bar in Pismo. This one is new to me. It has a golden color and is very nice and very smooth. Subtle honey notes that are offset by some hops and of course malts. Very easy rinking beer without being fizzy or bland. This would make a great summer thirst quencher. SamGamgee (1465), Santa Cruz (La Selva), California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 4, 2008 Updated: Apr 15, 2008On tap at the Firestone Walker Taproom in Buellton as "Firestone Walker Honey Blonde". They also have this on tap at Z’s Tap House in Goleta as Z’s Honey Blonde, and you can order kegs of it locally as well. I find it odd that it is under the Stuft Pizza brand here, but it appears to be the same beer. A light gold with a small head. Sweet malty and grainy aroma. The flavor is also sweet and grainy with almost no hops. There aren’t off flavors present that you might find in a macro offering similar to this, but the flavor is boring and one-dimensional. Clean, light palate. FW has succeeded in making a light, clean, and inoffensive beer for those visiting the taproom who don’t really like beer. Other than that, it’s not really of any interest. It would sure be nice if someone got a keg of this instead of high life at a college party in Isla Vista, but at double the price, I’m not holding my breath. (2.6) rerate: On tap at Chili’s Goleta. Much cleaner malt profile, without the graininess, and more honey flavor. Nice. definitely the beer for the masses, but well done. (3.1) GeneralGao (3071), Iowa City, Iowa, USA

Aroma was of light hops and malty cereal grain. There was a touch of sweetness on the tongue with flavors of honey touched ceral grain and light sprucy hops. BeerLimey (1873), California, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Dec 7, 2004 Lightly hazed golden amber hue. Mild honey tea aroma. Light fizzy palate, mild woody biscuity notes, honey sweetness dominates the second half. Fairly short in the finish, minimal sweet lingering aftertaste. Just like the pale ale a little thin in body.
