A golden IPA with a great balance of floral and bitterness. Still one of my favorites. ChillCoat (1029), Concord, California, USA

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright caramel color with a very creamy medium sized yellowish head. The aroma is strong with grapefruity hops. There is a strong grapefruit flavor with light sweet malts underneath. The balance is not too bad but the hops really dominate. Still not as good as the Double Barrell. fraternie (710), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Pleasant light citrus hop aroma, a little grass as well -- nice not to be overwhelmed. Taste of the same sweet citrus hops, a decent caramel malt backbone, overall a subdued enjoyable beer. Medium-heavy hopping, citrusy. Well done American Golden Ale. Citrus gelatin flavors, finishes out with a pleasant bitterness. Fresh, sweetish, enjoyable. Mellow Mushroom, Auburn. Nose speaks of hops and malt. Mouth like an ale. This is a good, hoppy malty beer with a good bitter finish. Citrus American bite, not to the levels I have come to expect from an IPA. Pleasant and easy to drink.
