Commercial Description:
Firestone Lager is an exquisite, full-flavored brew with a bright golden hue and a crisp, refreshing finish. Floral hops and crystal malts forge an elegant balance between delicate aromas, a soft palate and a firm hop character.

Light yellow, slightly grainy aroma, very weak nose. Light lemon, grass and crisp citrus in finish. A little too thin and light.

Draught at O’Briens: Clear yellow, no head or lacing.. The nose is lightly hoppy with some citrus malt qualities and a surprisingly chewy malt backdrop. The flavor is chewy and nicely malty too. It’s just the perfect level of citrus notes. Lots of character for a lager.

Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy, light brown, mostly diminishing. Body is medium yellow. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain/bread), lightly hoppy (flowers), with a light note of lemon zest. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Clean, nicely balanced, decent rendition of a light golden lager; if only BMC beers were up to this standard.

Poured a slightly hazed golden color with a small off-white head white head. The aroma had a fruity malt character. The flavor had a clean caramel taste. Seemed a little yeasty.

On tap @ Firestone Walker poured a clear yellow with a small dissapating white head. Aromas of straw and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and dry. Flavors of straw, bread and a hint of honey with a dry finish.

Draft. Light golden with a low white head. Grassy/floral aroma/flavor. A little thin. Not much going on.
