| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 1, 2007 On tap at Pete’s Brass Rail and Carwash in Danville, CA. It pours gold with thin white head. The aroma is sweet with malts and has a hint of noble hops. The taste is mild and doesn’t come off overly sweet. I get sweet malts balanced somewhat with grainy malts. There’s also a pale maltiness mixed in there too. kmweaver (2482), Sebastopol, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 15, 2009 Draft @ Pacific Coast Brewing. Pours a clear, tarnished orange color; off-white head with good retention and fine-bubbled lacing. Bland aroma of basic maltiness and no hop character to speak of. Lively, solid carbonation: candy sugar, oranges, touches of lightly syrupy honey; unbalanced, sweet with just a bit of acidity trying to hold things together. Basic, bland Oktoberfest. Medium finish: lasting sweetness, candied oranges, and a light mineral bitterness. badlizard (2373), Berkeley, California, USA

AFA the beer goes, it’s nothing special and there was some element of the flavor that I couldn’t quite place, but I didn’t enjoy. alexanderj (2279), Chino Hills, California, USA
