A little light in color plus a small rapidly disappearing head. Aroma is of malt and citrus hops. Taste has some grapefruit, some pine, malt. Explodes in the mouth with a full body. Easily quaffable. A great session beer. IPAsavedMYlife (33), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 15, 2009 Out of the bottle from a liquor store near LAX. Pours a beautiful clear golden orange. Slight carbonation, slightly off-white head. Filtered. What a palate, much like Sierra Nevada but more robust. The lower alcohol content is quite suprising. Fantastic Pale Ale. Cheers!! | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 3, 2009 Pours gold, with a light citrus aroma that features lemon, orange, and grapefruit. Flavor is primarily citrus with a light, rounded body. What impresses me about this brew is its drinkability, which is superbly high. I couldn’t believe how much aroma and flavor was packed into such a light body. Great brew. mreusch (748), Olathe, Kansas, USA

Pours a hazy golden yellow with a choppy one finger white head that drifts to a whisp and a few large bubbles, moderate retention and lacing. Aroma is citrus and light caramel and floral. Flavor is more citrus, with a caramel malt backbone. An enjoyable APA, and continuing to enjoy Firestone as a brewer, thanks again Todd! jcdsmack (88), Henderson, Nevada, USA
