Commercial Description:
Firestone Pale Ale offers a rich, crisply hopped character with a medium malt profile. Nuances of toffee and vanilla unfold across a bright, clean texture. Dry hopping establishes an assertive American hop aroma and flavor.

Medium head on clear, golden body. Just a great floral aroma. Flavor is mild sweetness, a little watery, but with a moderate amount of citric bitterness. Left no lacing on the glass. Nice to find a sub 5% pale ale.

I liked this a lot! Nice floral nose at pouring. Poured a butterscotch color with head that disipated to a nice lacing around edge. Great mouthfeel with JUST the right amount of hops. Nice bittering at the end. Sure would love to find this in NC regularly! Thanks to the Magic of DrBayern and his Magic Bus trip to Beantown!

Bottle. Nice hoppy aroma. Not much malt, but plenty of hop bitterness, with a little citrus peel, grapefruit. A little lacing on the glass. Pretty good pale ale.

Pours a nice golden color with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, malts and hops. Flavor is malt, hops and a little citrus. Better than most single IPA’s but nothing groundbreaking.

12 oz. bottle. Nice light amber color, and lacy white head. Has scents of citrus, malt, and green grapes(?!) That was the end of the goodness. Not much flavor and it disappears quickly, to a bitter leftover. I’ll finish this one, but I wouldn’t if I had others lined up waiting for me.

12 oz. bottle - clear, dark yellow and thin head fades quickly; some citrus hops and sweetness, but on the mild side; hops there again in the flavors with a bitter finish; lacking the texture found in the smoother DBA

it has its good qualities yet everything seems to be standard instead of something special. still its got the hops and malt that you want for this beer.

The aroma is malty with plenty of pine hops and sweet caramel. The appearance is hazy pale gold. The flavor is like the aroma. Overall I like it.
