Commercial Description:
Firestone Pale Ale offers a rich, crisply hopped character with a medium malt profile. Nuances of toffee and vanilla unfold across a bright, clean texture. Dry hopping establishes an assertive American hop aroma and flavor.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle from a six-pack bought at a local grocery store. Bright clear gold color, half-inch dense white head. Aroma is of floral hops, a little piney. Flavor is very balanced. Bready/biscuit malt flavors contrasting to a nice bitterness, hop flavors are present, a little earthy and piney. Clean, dry mouthfeel. Overall a fantasticlly balanced pale ale. Very drinkable.

On tap at PP san clemente. Light gold amber in color. Light hoppy aromas. Some easy malt sweetness with a slight bitterness and herbal grassiness. Very thin on your palate. Nice finish.

Draught at the FW taproom. Clear gold with a small head. Light citric hops in the aroma. Crisp american hopping with light malt flavor. Light, crisp body. Light and drinkable, but not doing to much for me. (3) Rerate: bottled as Pale 31. Much hoppier aroma and flavor; still light, crisp, and drinkable. Good session pale.

Nice soft floral hop and mild bready malt nose. Very clean and balanced body with good mouthfeel and conditioning. Mildly sweet and toasty with good hop bitterness.

Bright, clear amber appearance with a large, off white head and good lacing. Floral hop aroma with citrus mingling with the sweetness. Citrus hop start to the taste; finds some balance from the malts midway through. Medium-bodied mouthfeel leading to a dry, bitter, short lived finish.

Bottle 355 ml
Appearance: Bright golden look, medium light top , some lace was present.
Nose :Big refreshing citric hop aroma, light vanilla oak notes were well combined. Rose, caramel, grapefruit, malt.
Flavor/Palate : Soft , fairly sweet. Flavors were softer , less radical than aroma presented. Malt-hop dance with light vanilla accents. Unfortunately this ale felt as if was coated with invisible film creating muted experience.

12oz bottle. Pours a deep, clear gold (almost orange) with a thin, short-lived, small-bubbled, white head. The aroma is a big, bold, lovely, hoppy bouquet of flowers, honey, and oranges. There is a touch of fresh-baked croissants along with the sweet citrus hop smell. The flavor starts malty and bittersweet with big hop flavor and a decent, complex malt base. The malt has some toffee and caramel notes, but also a slight woody note (cardboard-ish? almost like it’s oxidized, except not unpleasant... perhaps it is a minor level of oxidation, or perhaps it is from the small amount of barrel aged beer that is part of the blend). The middle of the tongue picks up on some grainy flavors with the hop character entering into soapy territory. The finish is dry with a big hop flavor (piney) but soft bitterness. There is more wood/cardboard in the finish, too. The mouthfeel is medium in body with a nice, smooth texture and a slight tingle from carbonation. Overall, a very easy-drinking pale ale, but the oxidation (or oak?) is a bit distracting - especially in the finish.

Light gold appearance with a mild head formation. Aroma has sweet candy sugar and plenty of citrusy hops. Flavor is light and hoppy. Thin bodied, very easy to drink.
