Commercial Description:
Firestone Pale Ale offers a rich, crisply hopped character with a medium malt profile. Nuances of toffee and vanilla unfold across a bright, clean texture. Dry hopping establishes an assertive American hop aroma and flavor.

Bottle purchased from State Line Liquors. Pours golden abmer with a white head. Nice aroma . Aroma of toffee, honey, caramel, and grapefruity hops. Lively mouthfeel.Initial flavor of pale malts, vanilla, toffee. Clean and mild bitter finish, with some faint dryness. This was nice, just a well crafted simple beer.

Pours an attractive clear pale golden/copper with a medium, yet tight creamy white head. Fresh, floral, citrusy Cascade hop nose. Very pleasant and well-balanced. Flavor has notes of light roasted caramel malt, toffee, bread, grapefruity cascade hops and a touch of lemon (perhaps there are some noble hops in here too). Has a nice level of malty sweetness and body. The bitterness is very smooth yet prominent enough for a APA categorization. Medium bodied with a smooth, creamy texture and moderate carbonation. At 4.6% alc, I was expecting this to be somewhat lifeless and dull but it’s the total opposite; I love it when that happens. After all, isn’t that why we spend all our time on this site in the first place?

pours a slightly chill-hazed, amber-tinted gold, with a good white head that retains well and leaves good lace. nose is SNPA - tart citric notes balanced with a light blush of malt. flavor is again quite similar to SNPA, without the underlying carapils chewiness, and therefore with a bit more of a percetion of rattiness from the hops. so I don’t get it - this is quite close to being an SNPA clone. why bother? another Firestone Walker beer that is clean, well-made...and thoroughly un-inspired. Firestone Walker continue to leaves me cold, especially given all the accolades they have gotten (of course, that’s what GABF types like - clean and un-inspired)

Bottle. Pours a nice golden light amber with a quickly dissapating head. Good aroma with definite hoppiness. Taste is the expected Pale Ale fruitiness with a lingering bitterness that is not all that unpleasant. Has been a "go-to" beer for me for a while now.

Bottle. Light amber with a small white head. Nose is citrusy hops, light pine, subtle spicy notes and chewy malt notes. Taste is caramel, sweet, chewy malts, citrus notes, light spicy hops and a touch of evergreen. Body is medium with a light hop bitterness and unobtrusive carbonation. Ends with more citrus, sweet malts, caramel, light citrus, piney hops and lingering bitterness.

Bottle. Pours clear gold in color, thin white head. Great pale ale aroma, nice citrus hop aroma. Taste has some of those same hops but also some sweetness comes across, caramel and vanilla. Nice and balanced, feels fairly light. Finishes nice and clean. I can’t believe I waited this long to try this, might be a new regular for me.
